Vous devriez consider replacing le DHCP server, as it is obviously broken. DHCP servers should keep lease information entre restarts et preferably aussi probe addresses avant releasing them into le pool to avoid address duplication.

If that is pas an option you can drop le lease length. As long as le DHCP server can handle le churn it should work, mais short leases will cause a small increase le amount of broadcast traffic on votre network.

Short leases are primarily a problem quand you have clients disconnecting et reconnecting a lot, par exemple in WiFi networks. Very short leases (less than 1 minute) can cause weird problems avec certains DHCP clients that have time-outs longer than le lease.
