Any clock that works on any kind of oscillation is prone to inherent drift of that oscillator with respect to others unless very precisely calibrated. This is why only some car turn signals can be synced up and stay synced for longer than a few minutes.

Your clock is exhibiting this kind of inherent drift, and if it is not losing minutes per day don't sweat it.
