J'ai no option to installer Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) sur mon ordinateur. Pourquoi le option to installer **Windows 7 SP1** manquant from Windows Mise à jour?
Je suis moins intéressé in **why** the option is manquant, and more interested in comment **diagnose** why the option to installer Windows 7 SP1 is being hidden.
Following the suggestions in [KB2498452 - You do not have the option of downloading Windows 7 SP1 when you use Windows Update to check for updates](http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2498452):
>
Confirmez que Windows 7 SP1 n'est pas déjà installé and that you ne sont pas running a prerelease version of Windows 7 SP1
Je sun'est pas déjà running SP1, or a pre-release SP1:
>
Check for pending mises à jour
Mise à jour 976902 may have to be installé sur votre ordinateur avant Windows 7 SP1 sera offered in Windows Mise à jour.
I déjà have **976902** installé:
>
Verify that an incompatible version of SafeCentral n'est pas installé sur votre ordinateur
Windows SP1 may not appear in Windows Mise à jour if certain versions of SafeCentral are installé sur votre ordinateur. SafeCentral is a sécurité programme that is manufactured by SafeCentral, Inc.
I ne pas have **SafeCentral** installé (I've jamais heard of such a thing):
>
Vérifiez si you have Intel integrated graphics pilote Igdkmd32.sys or Igdkmd64.sys and whether you upgraded the pilote
I ne pas have an Intel GMA:
>
Assurez-vous that you n'a pas use vLite to customize your Windows 7 installation
I n'a pas use [vLite](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NLite_and_vLite) to customize my Windows 7 installation. Again, I've jamais heard of such a thing.
## Mise à jour One:
Ici's proof that J'ai vérifié for mises à jour "today" (3/2/2011):
And that I'm not being presented the option of l'installation SP1 (I dispatched an mise à jour to Silverlight and a fix for Internet Explorer 9 being hosted in a [Direct2D](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct2D) or [Direct3D](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Direct3D) application; so mises à jour themselves *do* work):
## Mise à jour Two:
J'ai essayé the Windows Mise à jour Troubleshooter:
Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is encore not disponible.
## Mise à jour Three:
Ici is the tail end of `windowsupdate.log`. It speaks of *Evaluating application rules*:
>

These doit être the rules that say I'm not allowed to see in SP1:

## Mise à jour Four:
Ici's the view from Gestionnaire de périphériques (including hidden périphériques) showing J'ai just one graphics card:
Si je do have a second video adapter, Windows ne know about it. And if a second video adapter was preventing Windows Mise à jour from offering me from Service Pack 1, ensuite it devrait être visible is some log fichier somewhere.
Je suis moins intéressé in why the option to installer Windows 7 SP1 is manquant, and more interested in comment **diagnose** why the option to installer Windows 7 SP1 is being hidden.
The KB article says that SP1 will not be offered if your machine ne meet some secret special criteria. Comment puis-je discover what that secret criteria is? I presume it is logged somewhere.
Nor am I particularly interested in a direct télécharger link. Je veux **learn** ici. Je veux be able to diagnose (i.e. dans le future) why an mise à jour n'est pas being offered.
Je suis un superuser ici. Rather than others coming up avec a checklist of things to try, Je veux be able to come up avec the checklist.
Windows 7 SP1 not being offered on Windows Mise à jour
Re: Windows 7 SP1 not being offered on Windows Mise à jour
Are you sure you ne pas have the mentioned version du Intel Graphics pilote installé? It pourrait être désactivé so it ne show in DxDiag.
Dans mon cas this was the reason for SP1 not being offered by Windows Mise à jour. I once used the onboard graphics so the Intel pilote was installé at some time. Ensuite I added a PEG graphics card and désactivé the onboard périphérique. So the pilote was present but could not show up in DxDiag. I activé the onbord graphics card again in bios and après rebooting Windows Mise à jour found an mise à jour for the Intel pilote. J'ai installé it and après rebooting and searching for mises à jour again SP1 was offered as it should.
**OP Mise à jour:** This turns out to be the answer. Even though i n'a pas have the Intel GMA adapter "*installé*" i did have the "*old*" pilote sur mon système. Disabling my **nVidia PCI Express** video card dans le BIOS, and enabling the built-in (Intel) adapter, and the Intel graphics card was ensuite installé in Windows:
A check of disponible mises à jour in **Windows Mise à jour** showed me an mise à jour vers le pilote for my **Intel GMA graphics adapter**:
Applying the mise à jour, restarting, and maintenant i have Windows 7 Service Pack 1 disponible on Windows Mise à jour:
C'est unfortunate that no Windows Mise à jour Log, or the Event Log, showed that the presence of an old version of a pilote is preventing the publishing of an mise à jour. i would have hoped that the problème could ont été debugged, rather than inferred.
