Comment installer Web Deploy pour IIS maintenant que Web Platform Installer a été retiré ?

Je suis trying to install WebDeploy (for publishing IIS sites depuis remote Visual Studio) on a nouveau Windows Server 2022 machine.

We used to use le Web Platform Installer to install WebDeploy, however this tool has been retired as of December 31, 2022.

J'ai found an .msi installer for Web Deploy version 4.0, however quand running le installer Je suis told there is a newer version installed already. Je ne believe this is le case - Je ne peux pas find tout sign of it being installed.

I guess what Je suis asking is: what is le current preferred way to install Web Deploy?

I had le même trouble installing this on Windows Server 2022 parce que there is no WebPlatform Installer anymore. Ceci est how I managed to do it:

- First assurez-vous que you have "Management Service" installed.

- Restart Server to make sure changes are applied

- Then install WebDeploy depuis le [official website](https://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/web-deploy), making sure you ne miss crucial features to deploy depuis Visual Studio (if you choose "complete" as le type of installation you ne va pas have this issue).

- After that juste redémarrez le IIS et that should be it.
