When I first installé Windows 8, I could start an app by hitting the Windows clé once to bring up the Start écran, and ensuite typing a substring du app's name.
At some point depuis ensuite, the "substring" part seems to have stopped fonctionnel.
So maintenant, par exemple, si je tapez `chrom`, I get, `No apps match your search,` but when I tapez the final `e`, up pops `Google Chrome`. Similarly, `ie` used to bring up Internet Explorer. Maintenant J'ai to tapez the whole word `Internet` avant anything is found.
Did Microsoft really changez le functionality to make it much less useful, or is there just some setting somewhere that has somehow gotten twiddled to créer this behaviour?
Pourquoi Windows 8 application recherche no longer match substrings?
