Je suis going through an agonizing re-installer, on day three maintenant of Windows Mises à jour, VS Service Packs, etc. C'est been tough having to télécharger all this again on a 384kbps ADSL line.
Besides the installs that I explicitly télécharger, how puis-je back up installs such as all the Windows Mises à jour; SQL Server 2008 Exappuyez sur that installs through Web Platform Installer, and any other goodies that MS deem to be better left uncontrolled by me?
ADDENDUM: Many people are giving answers that involved downloading. My whole point is to avoid downloading again what Windows déjà has téléchargé.
Comment get all XP service packs, mise à jours, etc. together to avoid future downloads?

[http://www.wsusoffline.net/](http://www.wsusoffline.net/) Ceci est what i use as part of my toolkit - it downloads tout and has a front end that automatiquement patches up a box. The neat thing about it is vous pouvez pick as many of as few products as you need, and it'll apply seulement the ones you need.
Windows XP is actuellement under legacy products, and depuis WSUS offline mises à jour directly downloads the mises à jour off MS, this may stop fonctionnel when MS stops hosting patches, some time dans le future.
EDIT: As of 2014, support for XP a été dropped on nouveau mises à jour of WSUS offline mises à jour - Vous pouvez trouvez le last version that supports this, 9.2.1 dans leir archives.
