Récemment J'ai été having problèmes avec my personal laptop's disque dur running out of space.
Après scanning my PC avec WinDirStat J'ai remarqué a fichier named "Windows.db" (located in C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Search/Data/Applications/Windows) taking up 116 GB(!) of mémoire sur mon disque dur. Je crois c'est a Windows search index database.
Is it safe to supprimer this fichier to free up space?
NOTE: My PC is running on Windows 11.

C'est the database for Windows search indexing indeed. Vous pouvez either safely:
- Rebuild it. Do that by either searching `Indexing options` or launching them through Panneau de configuration après showing all icônes. Ensuite allez à `Advanced` and click `Rebuild`. Doing that might reduce its size heavily. It will grow later though.
- Désactiver indexing or choose less locations to index. Again allez à `Indexing options` but click `Modify` this time. Choose seulement dossiers that have fichiers that need to be found quickly. Or ne choose anything si vous use app like [Everything](https://www.voidtools.com/) which is generally faster and less space-consuming. Rebuild index après that to assurez-vous it applies the nouveau paramètres.
- Désactiver Windows Search service temporarily and ensuite supprimez le fichier manuellement. First two options are much more recommended though.
