I’m attempting to upgrade from Windows 11 21H1, build 22000.1165 to Windows 11 22H2, Windows Mise à jour ne offer the upgrade, and when I try l’installation the mise à jour manuellement, I receive an erreur message that links vers le documentation for Windows safeguard hold ID 41332279, titled “Some installé imprimantes might seulement allow par défaut paramètres”.
This erreur persists even après removing all imprimantes and associated imprimante pilotes dans le Print Management console. The seulement imprimante pilotes remaining are the x86 and x64 versions du “Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility pilote”. When I try to supprimer those pilotes, I receive an erreur message that states “The sélectionné pilote cannot be supprimé. The specified imprimante pilote is actuellement in use.”
J’ai essayé deleting those pilotes avec the Print Spooler service stopped, but I received an erreur that indicated that the Print Spooler service doit être running.
I even tried deleting le registre clé at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3\Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver and rebooting, but the clé was automatiquement recreated après the redémarrer.
At this point I thing I’ll need to reinstall Windows completely, which I really ne want to do.
