Recover Windows 7 license clé from formatted drive

J’ai récemment performed a fresh installer of Windows 7 sur mon ordinateur, but seulement as I supprimé the old partition (that contained my old Windows 7 installer) did I remember I hadn’t extracted my Windows activation code to re-activate the nouveau copy avec (and seeing as I’ve lost the original packaging, am a little stuck maintenant).

Hopefully, quelqu’un has a simple way to restore the old partition, and access the old installer’s registry, so I might re-obtadans le clé and re-activate.

EDIT: I forgot to add earlier (see comments) - the disk that I wrote the fresh installer to was NOT the same disk that I previously been running Windows on. I simply supprimé the partition sur le old drive and stopped messing avec it après that.

Depuis you have not overwritten your original drive, the odds are (slightly) in your favour.

Vous devez first recover the supprimé partition, use a tool like TestDisk, vous allez probably be best to use a copy from one du variaous LiveCD’s listed sur leir site. Be absolutely sure you read and fully understand the documentation avant you attempt recovery - if this step ne work, your data sera lost de manière permanente.

Once you have recovered the partition, vous pouvez ensuite proceed to use a tool such as Magical Jelly Bean Key Finder to ouvrez le registry sur votre recovered drive and scan for your clé de produits. J’ai successfully used this tool to recover clés from registry fichiers stored on alternate hard disks avant and can confirm that this fonctionne well.

Si vous manage to recover the partition successfully, your chances of success in recovering your clés are pretty much 100%. If TestDisk (or whatever alternate tool you choose to use) fails to recover your drive ensuite your clé is lost.
