Comment supprimer an empty, unselectable imprimante in Windows 11 that shows "Pilote is unavailable"

I’ve the odd situation that my imprimante prints somewhat normally, but it appears twice dans le nouveau Windows 11 imprimante’s list, one time unselectable and undeletable, and one time normally.

The capture d’écran explains this better, I think.

My question is simple, depuis the bouton for Remove du imprimante can seulement be sélectionné après clicking it, and this imprimante cannot be clicked, how do I supprimer it? Not sure how it got there dans le first place, but depuis printing seulement fonctionne half the time, I like to get rid of it.

C’est the top one (btw, the message “Pilote is unavailable” seulement appears sometimes) ici:

PS, what I’ve tried:

  • I went to Gestionnaire de périphériques. This one cannot be found under “Print queues” (whatever was wrong avec “Printers” is beyond me, as unless I’m en fait printing, the active imprimante cannot be found there either…)

  • The imprimante ne show up when I try to print quelque chose, the others do.

  • J’ai besoin de redémarrez le Print Spooler from time to time, which may or may not be caused by a rogue pilote

  • The usual things: redémarrer, exécutez le troubleshooter, reconnect & redémarrer imprimante etc.

posting ici parce que I happened to have this exact same problème and found the solution on another thread:

The answer posted ici finally a fonctionné for me; J’étais getting frustrated depuis a bunch of other posts kept saying to just follow the standard steps to supprimer a imprimante, none of which a fonctionné in this case. Hope this helps!

Open settings (WIN + I)
Bluetooth and Devices
At the top: Click "Show more devices"
Scroll down until you see the printer
Here you can click the ... menu (as you would expect in the printers list)
Remove the device.
