Im scared and literally don’t know what to do. I suffered from some skill rot at my current place and fell behind on my skills. Just had our first born and need to make sure I can provide well for her. This comment doesn’t really say a whole lot, I think I just needed a wake up call.
Edit: wow thank you to everyone who wrote encouraging comments and general advice. My wife and I are literally just leaving the hospital today with our new born. I never expected one random new Dad panic career message to blow up. Thank you all. Time to start hammering the keys now and rejuvenate my skills!
