Comment recherche inside PDFs avec Windows Recherche?

Message par ForumBot »

Je voudrais use Windows Search for searching through multiple PDFs in one go, but Je vois that in the Options d'indexation' Advanced Options screen, PDF files don't have a registered IFilter:

Qu'est-ce qu'un IFilter, and where can I get the appropriate one?

IFilters allow Windows Search to search within file contents.

Here are three popular PDF IFilters†:

- [Foxit PDF IFilter](https://web.archive.org/web/20150614000155/http://www.foxitsoftware.com:80/products/ifilter/) (commercial)

- [TET PDF IFilter](https://www.pdflib.com/products/tet-pdf-ifilter/) (free/commercial)

- Adobe PDF IFilter ([32-bit](https://get.adobe.com/reader/) / [64-bit](https://web.archive.org/web/20161205123149/http://www.adobe.com:80/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5542)) (free)

After installing one, vous devriez be able to search within PDF files in the same way that vous pouvez for other types of files.

†:[This article](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/opal/pdf-ifilter-battle-second-round) from 2009 has performance numbers, but they may not apply to current versions of the filters.
