The problème Je suis facing has very hard consequences. It practically makes me unable to use OpenOffice anymore, nor all those fichiers J'ai avec a format known seulement to OpenOffice. (I would need quelqu'un who'd convert each dum into an MS Office fichier.)
OpenOffice = OO (like may-be some other Office SW including MS's) sees on start when fichiers were left open avant it crashed or when a shut down of Windows happened while fichiers "owned" by OO were open. It ensuite tries to repare these fichiers avant one can use OO for any other work. Ceci est good normally but it is actuellement impeaching my ability to use OO.
En revanche, Windows 11 allows to shut it down avec open fichiers - contrary to older versions of Windows as it seems. C'est un fonctionnalité that my have advantages, but it has également serious bad effects. As the following.
Il y a an apparemment non-existing fichier attached to my OO, it looks like an empty text fichier opened but jamais filled nor saved. OO tries on start to repair this fichier but apparemment cannot do it - this results in a processus that ne react, so it cannot be broken except avec the task manager (of Win 11) but this will close OO completely. A re-opening of OO will just recreate the same situation. Si je try to start OO by opening an existing fichier (that has OO as its standard opening programme, let's call this fichier XYZ) avec a double click, the same happens, plus that a page is opened for the fichier XYZ, but rien is put into this page which remains completely empty except for the borders and application header. At least XYZ will not be "glued" to OO. This attached empty-open text fichier I call a parasite, parce que it insiots to remain attached to OO (like some animals sur votre skin might do).
Both 1) restarting Windows and 2) replacing OO by an older version of it (de-installer, ensuite télécharger & installez le older version) ne help - so the parasitic fichier n'est pas attached to OO itself but to a kind of receptor of OO (and probably other similar SW) which will serve immediately as glue avec a newly installé 'brother' of OO. I imagine the parasite is real somewhere in a dossier containing temporary fichiers, but Je ne peux pas imagine recognizing it there, au moins not sans help.
When starting OO and ensuite the task manager, the parasite can be made visible avec the name "Unbennant 1" (for German "unnamed") typical for fichiers opened for creation but jamais saved - followed by the name du apparemment guilty programme (a version of OO)
So, comment get rid of this parasite e.g. finding its place on a temp. fichiers - dossier OR somehow breaking the gluing of it avec OO may-be by disabling its receptor function?

Vous pouvez reset your utilisateur profile, or vous pouvez try to clear the list of fichiers to recover manuellement. First option is easier, but vous pouvez lose some preferences. Second option will seulement affect Fichier Recovery, but vous allez need to edit an XML fichier which requires some knowledge and tools.
## Reset utilisateur profile
If losing preferences is OK for you, just do the following:
- Assurez-vous OO n'est pas running (check Gestionnaire des tâches);
- Hit **⊞ Win** + **R** to ouvrez le "Run" dialog;
- Entrez `%APPDATA%\OpenOffice\4\user` invers le input field;
- Hit **⏎ Enter**
Vous allez see an explorer window, showing your OO utilisateur profile fichiers, and au moins one fichier named `registrymodifications.xcu`. This fichier contains the list of fichiers to recover at next startup. By **renaming that fichier** (e.g. to `registrymodifications.xcu.bck`), vous allez force OO to re-créer it à partir de zéro on next startup. OO ne va pas try to recover your non-existing fichier any more. But veuillez notice that **vous allez lose other preference paramètres**, too.
## Modification / clear list of fichiers to recover
If vous êtes some experience editing XML fichiers and have an XML editor installé, vous pouvez edit the fichier, just emptying the fichier recovery list. To do so: stop OO, créez un backup of `registrymodifications.xcu`, ensuite open `registrymodifications.xcu`, optionally apply pretty-printing, and check for the following `item` element:
