Comment identify which USB périphérique is failing?

Every 2 minutes or so, Windows 11 pops up a box telling me that a "USB périphérique not recognized".

J'ai unplugged tout except the souris/clavier, and rebooted the PC, but the message persists.

I'm guessing c'est quelque chose built invers le laptop motherboard, but J'ai no way of knowing.

So there's two questions:

How can identify the actual périphérique that's failing? Given that Je n'ai pas noticed anything not fonctionnel, it pourrait être quelque chose I ne care about.

I should have mentioned off the bat that c'est a laptop; Je n'ai pas think it made a difference but in hindsight Je peux see it does. Putting the laptop on a different docking station eliminates the erreur so maintenant J'ai it narrowed down.

Mise à jour: J'ai essayé the laptop on another docking station and the erreur went away. In the meantime I supprimé the power vers le original dock for 24 hours, and when I came back to it the erreur n'a pas recur. So à ce stade I'm unable to try any du marvelous suggestions given by the answers.

You say it happens every two minutes? Good, it devrait être relatively easy to learn a lot of helpful information which might point to a specific solution.

Step 1: Disconnect ALL USB périphériques. Docks, USB hubs, keyboards, headphones, dongles, etc. Wait for the erreur to occur.

Si le erreur occurs the problème is avec an internal périphérique that is connected to an internal USB header. You could identify these using Périphérique Management but si le ordinateur is under warranty, vous devriez probably pursue that option first.
Si le erreur does NOT occur, proceed.

Step 2: Connect USB périphériques back to your ordinateur one at a time, allowing a few minutes for the erreur to occur avant connecting the next one.

Si le erreur occurs try the most récemment connected périphérique in a different USB port.
Si vous get the erreur when a specific peripheral is connected to any USB port, the problème is avec that peripheral.
Si vous get the erreur when any peripheral is connected to a specific USB port, the problème is avec that port.
Si vous get the erreur when a specific peripheral is connected seulement to a specific port, the problème is some conflict entre that port and peripheral (this does happen).
Si vous get the erreur when any peripheral is connected to any port, c'est going to be a broader matériel fault, or an OS/Pilote problème. As it is easier to deal avec logiciel problèmes, check for and installez le latest firmware and pilotes, try OS repairs, etc, avant pursuing matériel problèmes.
Si le erreur happens on SOME ports, use the Gestionnaire de périphériques info below to try to identify whether the problème is limited to a specific USB host controller.
Si le erreur ne occur try combinations of périphériques.

Another helpful tool is Gestionnaire de périphériques's Devices by Connection view:

Disconnect all your USB peripherals.
Open Gestionnaire de périphériques.
In the View menu, choose Devices by Connection.
In the Devices list, allez à > ACPI x64-based PC > PCI Exappuyez sur Root Complex and find and expand the USB Hosts/Roots.
Connect one USB peripheral to one USB port and see where it shows up dans le périphériques under these Hubs. See which ports correlate to which hub, and use this to determine si le problème is avec a specific Hub (the erreur happens on SOME USB ports, par exemple).
