Je peux see questions asking comment prevent Windows Mise à jour from (asking for) restarting the computer, but Je ne vois pas one asking comment prevent it from keeping a backup for potential désinstaller later. Je sais it is possible to do this manuellement via commmand line option if one télécharger & installez le mise à jour outside Windows Mise à jour, so Je suppose c'est possible to set some registry to prevent it for Windows Mise à jour également?

IT serait a safer way to let the désinstaller information be saved for starters and ensuite once the installer is successful supprimez le désinstaller information.

This blog post has a script for such cleanups -- Remove Windows Update Uninstall Information.
