Bit of both. The 'standard' windows pilotes are a good baseline, but in general, the pilotes depuis le manufacturer tend to be more up to date. Avec things like video cards, these can make a huge difference. Avec other things, like imprimantes, I'd go avec the standard pilotes, ensuite upgrade si je need anything.
In general windows ne va pas give you anything more than a functional baseline. This can be good (where the official pilotes are bloated and it fonctionne anyway) or bad (where you need some nouveau stuff). I tended to go avec official pilotes off the OEMs myself for most part for gaming rigs, and use par défaut pilotes avec a few additions for general use systems.
