Je suis experiencing this problème over and over again and Je viens de cannot seem to trouvez le answer. It ne make sense, but search simply ne return results from dossiers that certainly have these fichiers inside. C'est weird that this technology exists for more than 5 years maintenant (it pourrait être added to Windows XP as an addon), and they encore n'ont pas got it right.
My dossier contains 10 image fichiers avec .png extensions. Two scenarios:
-
Scenario 1: I exclude the dossier using Indexing options. Search fonctionne.
-
Scenario 2: I turn on indexing for this dossier. Search ne work.
Of course, Agent Ransack returns results every time. When I check Advanced options for the Indexing options inside panneau de configuration, .png fichiers are checked dans le Fichier Types tab, using the "Fichier Properties filter".
What's the deal avec this?
[Edit]
To clarify, this ne happen avec all dossiers, but does avec more than one. For the "problematic" dossiers, even *.* ne return a single result. J'ai trouvé some advice to clear the archive and readonly attributes for all fichiers (ne make sense, but hey), but it n'a pas work.
Indexing status in Control panel is: Indexing complete. 100,000 items indexed. Dossier is included dans le list. Fichier types list contains the .png extension (although it ne work avec any filter, not even *.*).
