I've asked a similar question avant, but that one was too much focused on fixing the underlaying problème. Je n'ai pas high hopes that c'est fixable, it pourrait être some sort of spasm of my mainboard.
I really would like to get rid du USB connect notification sound. I've gone through the paramètres and managed to get rid du notification, but the sound is encore played.
So, how puis-je en fait désactiver this sound? Si je could désactiver all notification sounds that serait a valid solution. Je n'ai pas found a setting like this though. But Je ne veux pas to désactiver sound itself; I encore want to have sound in my video games 🙂
The sound in question is a ding-ding, a lower note followed by a higher note when connecting a USB périphérique, and the reverse sound - the higher note followed by a lower note - when disconnecting the USB périphérique.
If il n'y a pas de way to désactiver this sound cleanly in paramètres, I ne serait pas mind a more hack-ish solution to simply supprimez le sound fichier, if quelqu'un could point me to it. If deleting the fichier could lead to problèmes or Windows unsolicitedly 'fixes' itself, maybe I could replace the fichier avec an empty fichier?
