Firstly: J'ai tried the options dialog for it (the one that Windows shows) and Je ne veux pas that.

The par défaut windows option dialog for it seulement allows two fonts: "Raster"(Fixedsys) and Lucida Console. Cependant, Je veux use Consolas (which is a really chic font). J'ai essayé messing avec le registre options for the current utilisateur "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console" but it ne seem to work. Help appreciated.

Je pense vous êtes changing the wrong clé. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Console\TrueTypeFont\

Faites un clic droit dans le blank white space dans le volet droit and sélectionner Nouveau -> String Value.

Edit the valeur vers lese paramètres:

Name: 00
Data: Consolas

Open invite de commandes and vous devriez be able to switch to Consolas font dans le properties. A redémarrer is essential for it to appear properly. I'd également recommend to turn on cleartapez to make it look smoother. Consolas looks best avec cleartapez on.
