I accidentally disconnected my disque dur while it was encore running and corrupted my Windows 7 installation; Je suis maintenant completely unable to boot into Windows. J'ai tried tout to try and repair the installation: Windows Startup Repair, chkdsk /r, SFC /scannow, bootrec /rebuildbcd, etc. and no luck. Je veux just perform a fresh installer, but my problème is that I ne pas have my Windows clé de produit written down anywhere, and Je suis unable to use any scripts or utilities to retrieve it depuis le registry parce que I cannot boot into Windows.
Windows 7 clé de produits are stored, encrypted, dans le "DigitalProductId" valeur du registry clé HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion. J'étais able to mount the corrupted Windows partition read-seulement from an Ubuntu live CD and copy the Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE registry hive, which contains the clé & valeur in question, to a flash drive, but loading this hive into regedit on a fonctionnel Windows installation and ensuite trying to use scripts or utilities to decrypt the loaded "DigitalProductId" valeur seulement returns the clé de produit du host Windows installation, no matter how much fiddling I try. J'ai essayé contacting Microsoft support and they've been rather unhelpful. Would anyone be able to guide me further? Perhaps if there's a different way to retrieve the clé de produit from Linux?
If quelqu'un more familiar avec scripting/cryptography serait willing to try and follow the decryption script to decrypt the clé de produit by hand, I could e-mail you the exported "DigitalProductId" valeur, SOFTWARE registry hive, and decryption script.
