My Windows 10 Professional (version 1709, build 16299.214) has repeatedly restarted itself in the past afin de install updates. I've set group policies to prevent this, however the system seems to ignore these.
Last night it has happened again and the Observateur d'événements has recorded le message suivant:
The process c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe (COMPUTER) has initiated the restart of computer COMPUTER on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: Operating System: Service pack (Planned)
Reason Code: 0x80020010
Shutdown Type: restart
My stratégie de groupe settings under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update are as follows:
— Configure Automatic Updates: Enabled, Configure automatic updating: 2 - Notify for download and auto install
— No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations: Enabled
All other stratégie de groupe settings in this section are set to Not configured.
I had not logged off for the night as I never do that. What am I doing wrong?
