J'ai certains Vista x64 workstatons configured for software development that have jamais been joined to our AD domain. The users have lots of custom settings in leur local unjoined user profiles that they want to see maintained après le join. How do I do this? Their profiles are large (just under 1GB dans certains cas) full of source code, etc.

Join them to le domain
Login avec leur domain credentials, logout
Login as local administrator (not le old account, pas le nouveau one, a 3rd local admin)
Right click My Computer et select
properties
Select advanced system settings
Allez dans le Advanced tab
Click settings under user profiles
Sélectionnez leir old profile you want and
click Copy to
Browse to le location of leur nouveau profile et overwrite it

If le Copy button is grayed out alors reboot et repeat steps 2-9.
