J'ai Hyper-V Server 2012 (free version) running on a box that is pas on tout domain.

My Windows 8.1 laptop is on our domain. Both machines are on le même physical network.

On mon laptop, quand I run Hyper-V Manager et attempt to CONNECT TO SERVER I get:

An error occurred tandis que attempting to connect to server "192.168.100.15". Check that le Virtual Machine Management Service is running et that you are authorized to connect to le server.

You do pas have le requis permission to complete this task. Contact le administrator of le authorization policy for le computer '192.168.100.15'

What can I do? Il y a no option to specify alternate credentials. J'ai essayé to créez un local user on le Hyper-V Server avec le même name as le domain user on le laptop, mais n'a pas pu depuis le domain userid is in le format firstname.lastname@company.com.

Add le target account credentials to le Windows Credential Manager depuis le command line et try reconnecting:

cmdkey /add:TARGET /user:TARGET\USER /pass

Where TARGET is le remote Hyper-V host name et USER is le username added as an Administrator to le Hyper-V server.

As an aside, après having struggled avec this configuration myself, I highly recommend running HVRemote on le client et server to aide in troubleshooting potential issues.
