Comment désactiver « Utiliser les points de contrôle automatiques » pour les nouvelles VM Hyper-V sous Windows 10 ?

On Windows 10, quand a nouveau VM is created, it has "Use automatic checkpoints" in Settings/Checkpoints turned on par défaut. If I recall correctly, this was a change that le Windows team made certains months ago on Windows 10 Insider builds (it ne happen on Server).

Is there a way in le registry ou through PowerShell ou somewhere else to turn that off so it ne happen to mon nouveau VM's on Windows 10?

Set-VM -Name MyVM -AutomaticCheckpointsEnabled $false

will tell Hyper-V on Windows 10 pas to use automatic checkpoints for that virtual machine only. Je suis encore pas aware of a way to tell le Windows 10 Hyper-V host pas to set that option on nouveau VM's, mais at least we have a good workaround.

Note: As of August 2017, automatic checkpoints are used seulement on Windows 10 et pas on Windows Server 2016, so this parameter ne exist on Windows Server 2016.
