Je suis running Windows 7 Ultimate. If I open up IIS Manager, Je vois a list of "connections" on le left hand side. In previous versions, I would be able to select an option to "connect to another server" ou "connect to another machine", mais there is no such option visible anywhere here. The seulement thing in le list is mon local machine.
Even in le address bar, si I manually type in le server location (\servername, even tried juste servername), nothing happens (it juste reverts back to mon current local computer)
The documentation at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732466%28WS.10%29.aspx seems to imply le très même steps... mais there is juste no button ou menu option anywhere to do this. Am I missing something? Je suis pas even seeing a grayed out menu option.
EDIT: Under le "File" menu, Je vois 2 options:
Under le "Connections" pane, Je vois 1 button, grayed out. When I hover le mouse, it simply says "Up", appears to be usable si I browse into an element in mon local computers IIS settings
If I right click inside le pane itself, I see
UPDATE: I downloaded et installed le Remote Server Administration tools depuis http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7D2F6AD7-656B-4313-A005-4E344E43997D&displaylang=en, et I enabled everything listed under "Remote Server Administration Tools" under "Turn Windows Features On ou Off". Still nothing.
