I highly recommend turning off le idle timeout in le plus situations. C'est le par défaut mais c'est meant more for bulk hosters that want unused worker processes to be ended so that they can toujours assume that they ne va pas have tous of them running en même temps.
Cependant, si you have juste a peu de production app pools on a server mais occasionally ne have a visitor in a 20 minute space (i.e. overnight), you ne want votre app pool to stop. You likely have enough resources to have tous of votre app pools running at once.
Additionally le par défaut settings of recycling le app pool at 1740 minutes should aussi be changed. I recommend scheduling it for an off-peak time like 4:00am daily plutôt than having it at différent times chaque day. More on that here on mon website.
