Je suis trying to understand DNS a bit better, mais I encore ne get A et NS records completely.
As far as I understood, le A record tells qui IP-address belongs to a (sub) domain, so far it was encore clear to me. But as I understood, le NS record tells qui nameserver points belongs to a (sub) domain, et that nameserver should tell qui IP-address belongs to a (sub) domain. But that was déjà specified in le A record in le même DNS file. So can someone explain to me what le NS records et nameservers exactly do, parce que probably I understood something wrong.
edit: As I understand you correctly, a NS record tells you were to find le DNS server avec le A record for a certain domain, et le A record tells you qui ip-address belongs to a domain. But what is le use of putting an A et an NS record in le même DNS file? If there is déjà an A record for a certain domain, alors why do you need to point to another DNS server, qui would probably give you le même information?
