Just got this as notification on my phone as my mobile calendar syncs with Gcal. I went into Gcal, reported it as spam and it deleted all events from that person.
Edited to add: "Event settings" is defaulted to "yes, auto add invitations." Switch to "no, only show invitations to which I have responded. "
