When they announced the new store I was hoping they'd restart with a new database. Require app developers to republish their apps or at least a required simple process to transfer to the new store.
During this Microsoft would have to review each application before it's published to the new store. All the old scam apps could stay on the old Win10 store until it's sunset and the new store wouldn't have all the scammy baggage.
