This problème remains in Windows 11 22H2. Such odd behavior to break the checkbox. Cependant depuis vous devez go out of your way to even get to that checkbox I'm guessing this fonctionnalité a été deprecated. Especially depuis manipulating le registre breaks it when doing as such ne break Windows 10.
The proper way to handle this maintenant is to click sur le chevrsur len drag and drop the icônes you want unhidden vers le right most area. Once you moved them all this will supprimez le chevron. Don't freak out when you redémarrer, at first vous allez see the chevron but once it loads all your apps/icônes it'll go away.
Vous pouvez également go into Personalization > Taskbar and unhide them there but J'ai trouvé that ne toujours work. Drag and drop finally corrigé it for me.
